Our Practice - Dr. Paul Coulter DDS, BSc.
Dr. Paul Coulter grew up in Kelowna, graduating from KSS in 1976. After completion of his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degrees at the University of Alberta in 1989, Paul served with the Canadian Armed Forces at National Defense Headquarters until 1993. After completion of his service, Paul opened a solo practice in Vernon where he raised a family of four.Paul joined our practice as an associate in August of 2004, with a keen interest in both surgery and cosmetic dentistry. Paul is a graduate of the Misch Implant Institute and has since completed training in oral, nitrous and IV conscious sedation.
As a self declared "nervous patient", Paul understands and respects the apprehension with which some of us face in dental treatment.
Paul is an avid auto enthusiast with both road and kart racing experience. He currently spends most of his free time building an environmentally sustainable home on the west side of Okanagan Lake. It features super insulated straw bale walls with solar electric and thermal systems for heat. The home was designed and constructed by Paul and his wife Sandy.
