Dr. Marissa Multari, BSc, DDS

Dr. Marissa Multari is originally from Nova Scotia, but spent her younger years in Ontario. After growing up in Windsor, she attended the University of Guelph where she achieved her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics. Marissa then returned to the East Coast to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Dalhousie University. During this time, she also completed an elective in oral surgery and received an award for her interest and proficiency in hospital dentistry. While completing her studies, she represented the Faculty of Dentistry in the university senate as well as the Dalhousie Student Union.

Following graduation, she was accepted into a General Practice Residency (GPR) program at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Through this experience she achieved her Conscious Intravenous Sedation, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, and Oral Sedation Certifications. The program also provided her with additional training in oral surgery, emergency dental care, and working with medically compromised patients in a hospital setting.

Marissa has enjoyed living in different provinces across Canada and experiencing their cultures first hand. She is excited to be living in Kelowna and outside of work can be found with her fiancé and their adopted dog “Jasper” – named after their love of Jasper National Park. She is currently working toward training Jasper to become a therapy dog for the elderly and children. Other interests of hers include: photography, hiking, exploring the outdoors, and playing hockey.
